Our Verdict on Trino Casino

Trino pairs a 5,500-strong slot catalogue and a 30-sport book under a direct Curaçao licence, backed by weekly cash back of up to 35% and a 26-tier loyalty ladder that ends in luxury prizes. Withdrawals clear within three banking days, but tiered caps push larger wins into instalments, and every responsible gaming limit runs through support rather than the account settings. Our project may earn a commission from players who register through our links.

Full sportsbook and live casino share one CAD wallet No house RTP figure or testing laboratory disclosed

Trino Casino in Brief

Trino launched in 2024 under Fortuna Games N.V. and runs on a direct licence from the Curaçao Gaming Authority rather than one of the old master sub-licences that expired across 2025. For Canadians, the site opens on a dedicated en-CA version: the wallet holds Canadian dollars, Interac sits in the cashier next to cards, e-wallets and crypto, and every bonus threshold is quoted in C$ instead of converted euros.

The lobby is built around slots, with more than 5,500 titles from studios such as Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw, Nolimit City and Play'n GO, alongside live tables from Evolution and a sportsbook covering roughly thirty sports plus esports. Promotions lean heavily on progression: a four-stage welcome package, weekly cash back paid in real money, monthly and weekly tournaments, and a 26-level loyalty ladder that raises cash back percentages and withdrawal ceilings as experience points accumulate.

The trade-offs are structural rather than hidden. Payouts are capped by loyalty tier, deposits carry a three-times wagering condition, and responsible gaming limits are applied by the support team instead of self-service toggles. If you want to compare the operator against other operators serving Canada, our full online casino directory lists them all.

Our Ratings

Best Suited For

Canadian slot players with a mid-sized bankroll who plan to stay on one site rather than hop between brands. The loyalty ladder rewards volume with rising cash back and higher payout ceilings, the C$30 entry point keeps the welcome package accessible, and the shared CAD wallet lets you move between slots, live tables and hockey or football markets without converting funds or opening a second account.

Less Suited For

Anyone chasing a single large payout. Withdrawal ceilings are tied to loyalty level, so a five-figure win at a low tier is released in instalments over weeks. Players who prefer to set their own deposit or session limits in account settings will find those requests routed through support instead. Residents of the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Spain and the other listed markets cannot register at all.

Our Hands-On Test of Trino Casino

This section is a log, not a summary. Everything below was recorded by a Trust Casino tester working through a live C$500 session on the Canadian version of the site, from sign-up through to money back in the wallet.

Step 1: Registration

The site opened on the en-CA version with a Canadian flag in the top-right corner, so no manual switching was needed. Registration runs as a three-stage wizard behind the yellow Sign Up button.

  1. Stage one — credentials. Four fields: email, password, country and account currency. Austria was pre-filled from our IP, so we changed the country to Canada and the currency dropdown switched the wallet to CAD. There is an I have a promocode link directly under the currency selector for anyone arriving with a code.
  2. Stage two — consent. Two checkboxes, both ticked by default: one to receive bonus offers, one confirming you are 18 or older and accept the terms. The bonus banner at the top of the form displayed the 400% plus 500 free spins package throughout.
  3. Stage three — account created. The wallet opened immediately. No SMS code was requested and no email confirmation link was required before the balance became usable, which is worth knowing: the account is live before it is verified.

Total time from first click to an open cashier: under two minutes. Google and Twitch single sign-on buttons sit below the form as alternatives to the email route.

Step 2: Verification

Verification is not optional at Trino, but it is deferred. The operator applies a three-tier model, and the first tier is a self-declaration form reached through the account settings.

  • Tier one — first name, surname, date of birth, gender, country of residence and full address. Required of every player before any payout, regardless of amount or method. This took us roughly three minutes to complete.
  • Tier two — triggered by deposits or withdrawals above €2,000. A photo of government-issued ID held beside a handwritten note showing a six-digit code generated by the site, plus a second photo showing your face. Address is checked electronically against two databases first; only if that fails are you asked for a utility bill or government letter issued within the last three months.
  • Tier three — triggered above €5,000, and requires source-of-wealth documentation.

Full KYC is also mandatory once lifetime deposits reach €5,000, and there is a hard deadline: verification must be completed within ninety days of registering, or within thirty days of a request from the casino, whichever falls first. Our C$500 deposit sat well inside tier one, so no documents were uploaded during this test.

Step 3: Depositing C$500 by Skrill

The cashier lists Interac, Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Revolut for Canadian accounts, with crypto rails available alongside them. We selected Skrill, entered C$500, and were redirected to the Skrill authorisation page.

The minimum deposit is C$30, which also happens to be the qualifying threshold for the first three welcome bonuses. Trino absorbs transaction fees on incoming payments in most cases; anything your own bank charges is on you. The deposit itself is instant on the casino's side — our balance updated approximately four minutes after we started, and most of that was Skrill's own two-factor confirmation rather than the casino's processing.

One condition to register before you play: real-money deposits carry a three-times wagering requirement before a withdrawal is permitted. Bets placed at odds or multipliers below 1.30 do not count toward it. You can skip the requirement and cash out early, but a 10% fee is deducted from the withdrawal if you do.

Step 4: Games We Played

We deliberately spread the session across four verticals rather than grinding one title, using games surfaced on the front page and in the Recommended and Popular carousels.

Slots

  • Gates of Olympus Super Scatter (Pragmatic Play) — flagged "Top" in the Recommended row and the first tile in the lobby. Loaded in under three seconds.
  • Le Pharaoh (Hacksaw Gaming) — one of the four titles tied to the second welcome bonus, so worth a look before claiming it.
  • Mummyland Treasures (Belatra) — a slower-paced pick to balance the volatility of the first two.
  • Pirots 4 (ELK Studios) — grid-based, and one of the five slots carrying the 100-spin allocations in the Major Spin Pack.

Table Games

  • Roulette A (CreedRoomz) — the default entry in the Live Casino row, with a demo mode available, which is unusual for a dealer table.
  • Infinite Blackjack (Evolution) — unlimited seating meant no waiting for a spot even mid-evening.

Live Dealer

  • Crazy Time (Evolution) — streamed cleanly at full quality over a home connection with no dropped frames.
  • Sweet Bonanza CandyLand (Pragmatic Live) — the slot-crossover game show, listed directly beside Crazy Time in the lobby.

Worth flagging for anyone planning to play with a bonus active: live casino games contribute nothing while bonus funds are in play, and slots from Amusnet and Playson are blocked entirely. Table games, video poker, roulette, blackjack, baccarat and crash titles contribute 10% each. Only slots and mini games contribute the full 100%.

Step 5: Testing Customer Support

Live Chat

We opened the chat widget in the bottom-right corner and asked a deliberately practical question: whether the three-times deposit wagering requirement applied to us if we had not claimed any bonus. The queue delivered an agent in roughly four minutes, and the reply came in English. The answer was accurate and specific — the requirement applies to the deposit itself regardless of bonus status, and the 10% opt-out fee was explained without us having to ask. Tone was friendly and unscripted, with no attempt to redirect us toward a promotion.

Email

We sent a second question to support@trinocasino.com about which loyalty level unlocks the higher weekly withdrawal ceiling. The response arrived within five hours, in English, and referenced the specific tier bands rather than pasting a generic block of terms. There is a separate address, kyc@trinocasino.com, for document submission and verification queries, which keeps compliance traffic out of the general queue.

Phone

Not available. Trino publishes no support telephone number; the contact channels are live chat and the two email addresses. VIP account holders are additionally offered WhatsApp contact through their assigned manager.

Step 6: Withdrawing C$550 by Skrill

We closed the session up C$50 and requested C$550 back to the same Skrill account we had deposited from.

That was not a stylistic choice. Trino requires withdrawals to be routed to the original card, bank account or payment method used for the deposit. This closed-loop rule is standard across licensed operators and exists for anti-money-laundering reasons rather than administrative convenience: if funds can only travel back to their source, an account cannot be used to move money from one instrument to another. It matters most on your first payout, which is exactly when verification is also being completed. Trino will consider a different destination method, but only after additional security checks — so if you deposit with a card you plan to cancel, sort the payout method out first.

Practical numbers from the request:

  • Amount requested: C$550
  • Method: Skrill, matching the deposit
  • Minimum permitted: C$75 per transaction
  • Stated processing window: up to three banking days
  • Actual time to funds landing: approximately six hours

Tier-one verification had to be completed before the request would submit — the system will not accept a payout from an unverified profile, no matter how small. Beyond that the process was uneventful: one pending request is permitted per method at a time, and one request per 24-hour period. Our C$550 sat comfortably below the daily ceiling for a starting-level account, so no splitting was necessary. Players cashing out larger sums should check their loyalty tier first, because the caps tighten considerably at the bottom of the ladder.

Step 7: What New Players Are Offered

The promotions page carried eight live offers during our test. The headline package spreads 400% and 500 free spins across the first four deposits, each starting at C$30:

  • First deposit — 100% up to C$4,000 plus 200 free spins, released in blocks of 50 every 24 hours across Luck of Tiger: Bonus Combo, Le Viking, Le King and Gates of Olympus. Wagering 35x.
  • Second deposit — 100% up to C$2,000 plus 100 free spins across Le Pharaoh, Ze Zeus, Big Bass Vegas Double Down Deluxe and Sweet Bonanza. Wagering 35x.
  • Third deposit — 75% up to C$2,000 plus 50 free spins. Wagering 35x.
  • Fourth deposit — 125% up to C$2,000 plus 150 free spins. Wagering steps up to 40x here.

Alongside those sit the Major Spin Pack (500 free spins from a C$150 deposit), a 100% sports free bet from C$40, weekly cash back of up to 35% paid as real money every Monday, and a VIP transfer programme that matches your tier from another operator against a screenshot. Every deposit bonus caps maximum cash-out at five times the bonus amount, free-spin winnings cap at C$150 per slot, and bonus funds expire seven days after activation — so claim the package on a week you actually intend to play.

Trino Casino Promotions and Rewards

Trino structures its promotions around progression rather than a single headline offer. New accounts work through a four-stage welcome package spread across the first four deposits, after which the rewards shift to recurring mechanics: weekly cash back calculated on net losses, a free spin pack for larger deposits, a sports free bet, monthly and weekly tournaments with fixed prize pools, and a 26-tier loyalty ladder that raises cash back percentages and payout ceilings as experience points accumulate. Eight offers were live on the promotions page during our test. Terms are consistent across most of them: C$30 entry, seven-day validity, and a cash-out cap tied to the bonus amount. Our full bonus section lists every current offer.

Welcome Bonus: 400% up to C$10,000 plus 500 Free Spins

The welcome package is split across four deposits rather than front-loaded, and the percentages do not descend in the usual pattern — the fourth deposit actually carries the largest match at 125%.

The first deposit pays 100% up to C$4,000 and adds 200 free spins, released in blocks of 50 every 24 hours across Luck of Tiger: Bonus Combo, Le Viking, Le King and Gates of Olympus. The second repeats the 100% match but caps at C$2,000 and adds 100 spins spread over Le Pharaoh, Ze Zeus, Big Bass Vegas Double Down Deluxe and Sweet Bonanza. The third drops to 75% with 50 spins, and the fourth closes at 125% with 150 spins.

The important asymmetry sits in the wagering: the first three stages run at 35x, while the fourth steps up to 40x. Each stage is claimed separately from the profile after a qualifying deposit, and only one bonus can be active at a time — the deposit bonuses are not cumulative. A withdrawal request cancels any unclaimed bonuses still sitting in the account, so the sequence works best played through in order.

Wagering Requirement 35x bonus amount on deposits one to three; 40x on the fourth deposit. The same multiplier applies to free spin winnings
Minimum Deposit C$30 (€20) for each of the four stages
Maximum Bet During Wagering C$7 (€5) per round or spin
Game Contribution Slots and mini games 100%; roulette, blackjack, baccarat, craps, video poker, Texas Hold'em, other table games and crash games 10% each. A listed group of older slots contributes 20%, and a further group contributes 0%
Excluded Games All live casino games; every Amusnet and Playson slot; and a published blocklist including Dead or Alive 2, Book of Dead, Starburst, Reactoonz, Immortal Romance, Bonanza, Moon Princess, Jack and the Beanstalk and Viking Runecraft
Bonus Code None required — bonuses appear in the profile after a qualifying deposit. A promo code field is available at registration for campaign-specific offers
Validity Seven days from activation; unused bonus funds and any winnings derived from them are removed afterward
Maximum Win 5x the bonus amount from match funds; C$150 (€100) per slot from free spin winnings
Country Restrictions Canada is eligible. Residents of restricted markets — including the United States, United Kingdom, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Denmark, Lithuania, Türkiye, Russia and Ukraine — cannot register or claim

Reload Bonus: Major Spin Pack — 500 Free Spins

The reload offer at Trino is spin-based rather than a percentage match. A deposit of C$150 or more releases 500 free spins split evenly across five titles: Pirots 4 from ELK Studios, Royalty of Olympus from Barbarabang, Le Pharaoh and Le King from Hacksaw, and Energy Coins: Hold and Win from Playson. Each slot receives 100 spins.

The economics differ from the welcome stages in two ways worth noting. The validity window is shorter at five days rather than seven, and the cash-out limit is a flat cap rather than a multiple — winnings from the entire 500 spins are capped at C$150 in total, not per slot. Anything above that threshold is deducted before the withdrawal is approved. At 35x wagering on spin winnings, this is a volume offer aimed at extending playing time rather than a route to a large payout.

Minimum Deposit C$150 (€100)
Reward 500 free spins, 100 each across five specified slots
Wagering Requirement 35x on free spin winnings
Maximum Bet During Wagering C$8 (€5)
Validity Five days from activation
Maximum Win C$150 (€100) total

Weekly Cash Back: Up to 35%

Cash back is the strongest recurring mechanic on the site, mainly because of how it is paid. The money lands as real funds on the main balance with no wagering attached, meaning it can be withdrawn immediately rather than replayed. It is credited automatically every Monday, and the amount appears in account history.

The calculation runs Monday 00:00 CET to Sunday 23:59 CET and is based on net losses using a published formula: total deposits minus total withdrawals, minus current balance, minus open bets, multiplied by your cash back percentage. If there are no net losses in the period, nothing is credited. The percentage is tied to loyalty level, starting at 2% from Level 2 and climbing to 35% at the top tier — your exact rate is displayed in the loyalty section.

One inconsistency is worth flagging: the promotions page advertises a ceiling of C$32,000, while the offer's own terms state a maximum of €20,000 per player per week. Check your account before assuming the higher figure applies.

Eligibility Loyalty Level 2 or higher
Rate 2% to 35%, determined by loyalty level
Calculation Period Monday 00:00 CET to Sunday 23:59 CET
Payment Day Every Monday, credited automatically
Wagering Requirement None — paid as real money
Minimum Credit €0.10 or currency equivalent
Maximum Credit Advertised up to C$32,000; offer terms state €20,000 per week

Sports Free Bet: 100% up to C$165

The casino welcome package cannot be used on sports, so the sportsbook carries its own offer. A deposit of C$40 or more releases a matching free bet capped at C$165.

Wagering is far lighter than on the casino side at 5x, but the qualifying criteria are specific. Only two bet types count: singles at odds of 2.00 or higher, and multi-bets containing at least three events each priced at 1.50 or higher. A long list of market types is excluded from wagering entirely — handicaps, over/under, both teams to score, odd/even, total goals, cash-out bets and free bets. Only the first bet placed on any given event counts toward the requirement. The bonus is void if used on casino or live casino games, and the wagering window is seven days from crediting.

Minimum Deposit C$40 (€25)
Maximum Free Bet C$165 (€100)
Wagering Requirement 5x
Qualifying Odds Singles from 2.00; multi-bets with three events at 1.50 or higher each
Maximum Bet C$75 (€50)
Validity Seven days from crediting
Maximum Win 5x the deposit amount

Tournaments

Tournaments run continuously in two formats. The monthly event, Monthly Win Fest, carried a €20,000 prize pool over 30 days during our test, paying the top 40 positions on a sliding scale from €4,000 down to €150. The weekly event, Weekly Glory, ran a €5,000 pool over six days and paid the top 25. Both required a minimum qualifying bet of €0.10 and were restricted to a defined set of slots listed on the tournament page.

The rules are stricter than they first appear. Only wagers placed from the real-money balance count — bets funded by bonus money are excluded unless a specific tournament states otherwise. A wager is counted at the moment the round settles, not when it is placed, so late spins near a deadline may not register. Cancelled or refunded rounds are stripped from the leaderboard. Ties are broken in favour of whoever reached the score first. The leaderboard stays provisional until 72 hours after the tournament closes. Prizes credited as cash carry no wagering requirement, but withdrawal still requires completed KYC and the standard three-times deposit wagering condition.

Monthly Win Fest €20,000 prize pool, 30 days, top 40 paid
Weekly Glory €5,000 prize pool, six days, top 25 paid
Minimum Qualifying Bet €0.10
Eligible Funds Real-money balance only
Leaderboard Finalized 72 hours after the tournament ends
Eligibility One account per person; self-excluded players and those under a cooling-off period are barred

VIP and Loyalty Programme

Trino runs a 26-tier ladder instead of the usual five or six named bands. Progress is measured in experience points earned at a rate of one XP per euro wagered, counted automatically from real bets regardless of whether they win or lose. Levels never decrease once reached, and no activation is needed.

The benefits scale across four axes: level-up prizes, weekly cash back percentage, birthday gift and withdrawal ceiling. Level 1 carries none of them. From Level 2 the cash back rate opens at 2% and birthday gifts begin at 5 free spins. Cash back climbs through 5% around Level 9, 10% at Level 17, 15% from Level 19, and 20%, 23%, 25% and 30% across Levels 22 to 25, reaching 35% at the final tier. Birthday gifts follow the same curve, moving from free spins to cash amounts from Level 10 and reaching C$80,000 at the top.

A personal VIP manager is guaranteed from Level 15, though the operator states it may extend VIP status earlier at its own discretion to players whose activity stands out. Withdrawal ceilings rise in steps from C$8,000 to C$16,000, then C$25,000 and C$32,000, becoming individually negotiated from Level 20 onward. The top three tiers carry the marquee prizes: 1 BTC at Level 24, a Cybertruck at Level 25, and a sky apartment at the final Trino Legend tier. Players who already hold VIP status elsewhere can request a status match by sending support a screenshot of their current level.

Tier Band Cash Back Withdrawal Ceiling Key Benefit
Level 1 None C$8,000 Entry tier, no rewards attached
Levels 2–5 2–3% C$8,000 Cash back unlocks; birthday free spins begin
Levels 6–9 3–5% C$16,000 Free spin level-up prizes; ceiling doubles
Levels 10–14 5–8% C$25,000 Birthday gifts switch from spins to cash
Levels 15–19 9–15% C$25,000–C$32,000 Personal VIP manager guaranteed from Level 15
Levels 20–23 15–23% Individual Negotiated limits; cash prizes to C$4,000
Levels 24–26 25–35% Individual 1 BTC, Cybertruck and sky apartment prizes

Game Selection

Trino runs on a lobby built around volume rather than curation. The slot counter alone reads 5,519 titles, and the library is organized through two parallel filter systems: a provider list and a set of thematic collections covering Megaways, Hold and Win, Bonus Buy, Jackpot, Crash, Fruits, Egypt, Vikings, Fishing, Sweets and a dozen more. That second layer matters at this scale, because the practical problem is not whether a mechanic exists but how long it takes to reach it.

The mix leans strongly toward high-volatility modern slots from Hacksaw, Nolimit City, ELK Studios and Pragmatic Play, with Relax Gaming supplying a deep bench of lesser-known titles. Live tables come mostly from Evolution and Pragmatic Live, and a separate Mini Games tab collects crash and instant formats. Nearly every RNG slot carries a demo button beside the play button, so the catalogue can be explored without funding an account.

Total Game Count and Distribution

Trino publishes a live counter for slots only. The figure sat at 5,519 slots during our review. The operator describes the full library as more than 12,000 titles across all categories, while independent counts more commonly place it between 7,000 and 8,500 — the gap likely reflects regional availability, since the game list changes by jurisdiction. Live table counts reported elsewhere range from roughly 340 to 700. The breakdown below is therefore approximate and anchored on the figures the casino itself displays.

Category Share Count
Slots 74% 74% 5,519 (counter published in the lobby)
Live Casino 9% approx. 9% Not disclosed by the casino; third-party counts range from 340 to 700 tables
Table Games (RNG) 6% approx. 6% Not disclosed
Jackpot 4% approx. 4% Not disclosed; dedicated Jackpot tab in the lobby
Crash and Mini Games 4% approx. 4% Not disclosed; dedicated Mini Games tab
Other (scratch, betting games, virtual sports) 3% approx. 3% Not disclosed

Slots

The slot floor is where the catalogue earns its size. Pragmatic Play is the single largest contributor, with Relax Gaming close behind on raw title count and Hacksaw Gaming carrying the highest concentration of "Top" flags in the lobby. Nolimit City handles the punishing end of the volatility scale, ELK Studios supplies the grid and cluster formats, and older NetEnt and Play'n GO classics fill out the back catalogue.

Sorting is genuinely useful here. The Bonus Buy tab isolates titles with a purchasable feature, Hold and Win groups the respin-and-collect mechanic that dominates the jackpot section, and Megaways collects the shifting-reel format. A separate Bonus Wagering tab is worth checking before claiming any offer, since not every slot contributes to playthrough at the same rate. New releases appear in their own row and are refreshed regularly — Golden Tree Harvest, Frosty Bonanza, Wealth Bells 40 and Soccerbet Legends were all sitting in the New Releases carousel during our visit. The full list is covered in our slots section.

  • Gates of Olympus Super Scatter — Pragmatic Play
  • Le Pharaoh — Hacksaw Gaming
  • Wanted Dead or a Wild — Hacksaw Gaming
  • Mummyland Treasures — Belatra
  • Pirots 4 — ELK Studios
  • Tombstone Begins — Nolimit City
  • Luck of Tiger: Bonus Combo — NetGame
  • Legacy of Dead — Play'n GO
  • Midas Golden Touch 2 — Thunderkick
  • Fruit Shop Megaways — NetEnt
  • Sound of Steel Hold and Win — 1spin4win
  • 3x3 Grand Crown: Hold the Spin — Gamzix

Live Dealer Games

Evolution dominates the live section, supplying the bulk of the roulette, blackjack and baccarat tables as well as the game shows. Pragmatic Live is the clear number two, contributing branded crossover formats and its own blackjack and roulette range. Beyond those two, CreedRoomz, Stakelogic, BetGames, LuckyStreak, Winfinity and Platipus add further tables, which broadens the stake ladder considerably at the lower end.

The lobby splits the section into Top Live Games, Roulette, Baccarat, Blackjack, Poker and Game Shows. Roulette coverage runs from standard Lightning Roulette through XXXtreme Lightning Roulette, Immersive Roulette and its Deluxe variant, Mega Roulette, Red Door Roulette, Gates of Olympus Roulette and Super Stake Roulette. Blackjack includes Infinite Blackjack, Blackjack A and B, First Person Blackjack, and numbered Pragmatic tables such as Blackjack 16, 28 - Azure and 145. Baccarat covers Speed Baccarat A and Lightning Baccarat, while the game show tier carries Crazy Time, Crazy Time A, MONOPOLY Big Baller, Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, Money Time, Ice Fishing, Mega Ball and Crazy Pachinko. Poker is represented by Texas Hold'em Bonus Poker, Caribbean Stud Poker and Triple Card Poker.

One rule to keep in mind: live casino games are entirely unavailable while a bonus is active on the account.

Table Games

The RNG tables sit alongside the live section rather than in their own top-level tab, and most carry a demo mode — unusual, and useful for anyone learning a variant before staking. Roulette is covered by European Roulette from EvoPlay and Classic Roulette from BetGames. We did not find a dedicated American or French RNG roulette variant in the Canadian lobby; those wheel types appear only in the live section.

Blackjack has the deepest RNG bench: European Blackjack and Super 7 Blackjack from BetSoft, Single Deck Blackjack from Platipus, and Multi-Hand Blackjack in two versions from ConceptGaming. Baccarat is available from Pragmatic Play and as Baccarat BB from Barbarabang. Poker variants stretch further than most competitors — Caribbean Poker from BetSoft, Texas Hold'em Poker 3D from EvoPlay, Three Card Poker Deluxe from Habanero, 777 Poker from Pascal Gaming, Crystal Poker from Turbo Games, Three Cards from VoltEnt, and video poker from EvoPlay, KA Gaming and Play'n GO. Casino Hold'em is offered by CreedRoomz with a demo option attached. Table games contribute only 10% toward bonus wagering.

Jackpot Games

The Jackpot tab is populated almost entirely by Hold and Win style slots with local, in-game prize tiers rather than networked progressive pools. Trino does not operate its own jackpot network, and no live jackpot ticker is displayed in the lobby — current pool values are visible inside each game rather than on the category page. Anyone specifically hunting a multi-million networked progressive of the Mega Moolah type will not find one here.

Playson and Penguin King supply the largest share of the section, with Pragmatic Play, Gamzix, Belatra and Mancala filling the rest. Titles available during our review included:

  • Energy Coins: Hold and Win — Playson

Instant and Crash Games

Crash and instant formats live under the Mini Games tab and are among the few categories where the provider mix shifts away from the usual slot studios. Spribe, Turbo Games, Inout and BGaming carry most of the section. These games are popular partly because several carry unusually high theoretical returns, but they are also the most heavily restricted category for bonus purposes — crash titles contribute 10% at most, and a long list of them contributes nothing at all toward playthrough. Read the bonus terms before using a crash game to clear wagering.

  • Aviator and Hi Lo — Spribe
  • Aviatrix — Aviatrix
  • Crash X and Vortex — Turbo Games
  • Chicken Road, Chicken Road 2 and Penalty Unlimited — Inout
  • Plinko, Plinko XY, Chicken Rush, Fortune Spin, Fishing Club and Golden Pinata Hold and Win — BGaming
  • Plinko+ — Pragmatic Play
  • Big Bass Crash — Pragmatic Live
  • Mines Dare to Win — Hacksaw Gaming
  • Jackpot Mines and Mummy Mines — Belatra

Other Formats

Two smaller categories round out the lobby. Scratch-style instant wins are represented by Scratch Match from EvoPlay. Betting games — a hybrid format where you wager on the outcome of a dealer-run card draw rather than playing a hand yourself — come from BetGames, with Poker 6+, Bet On Poker and Live Roulette available. Virtual sports and esports markets are handled inside the sportsbook rather than the casino lobby. We found no bingo section on the Canadian version of the site.

Leading Providers

We confirmed 48 distinct studios across the pages we reviewed; independent counts put the full roster above 65. The mix is weighted toward the studios that define current slot design rather than volume-driven filler, which is a meaningful distinction at this catalogue size.

  • Pragmatic Play — the largest slot contributor by title count. Tumble mechanics and scatter-pays grids, typically 96.5% default RTP, plus the Big Bass and Dog House franchises.
  • Evolution — supplies the majority of live tables and every major game show format, including Crazy Time, MONOPOLY Big Baller and the Lightning roulette family.
  • Hacksaw Gaming — high-volatility slots with above-average default RTPs. Le Bandit, Le King, Le Pharaoh and Wanted Dead or a Wild all appear in the welcome bonus spin allocations.
  • Nolimit City — the most punishing volatility on the site, with xWays and xBomb mechanics and max wins reaching six figures. Fire in the Hole xBomb, San Quentin xWays and Mental 2 are all present.
  • Play'n GO — book-style and cluster classics, including Book of Dead, Legacy of Dead, Reactoonz and Moon Princess. Consistently high default returns.
  • Relax Gaming — the deepest back catalogue on the site by raw count, spanning the Money Train series and dozens of lesser-known titles that rarely appear elsewhere.
  • NetEnt — classic slot design and the older high-RTP titles such as Blood Suckers and Dead or Alive 2, both restricted when a bonus is active.
  • ELK Studios — grid-based and collection mechanics, notably the Pirots series and Nitropolis line.
  • BGaming — crypto-oriented studio supplying most of the Plinko and instant-win formats alongside a mid-volatility slot range.
  • Spribe — the originator of the crash genre, responsible for Aviator and Hi Lo, both among the highest theoretical-return games in the lobby.

RTP Information

Trino does not publish a house RTP figure, does not display a return percentage on game tiles, and does not name an independent testing laboratory anywhere in its public documentation. The About page states only that games are tested, approved and certified. RTP is checkable per game: open the title, then look in the info screen or paytable.

This matters more than it might seem, because most major studios license several certified RTP configurations of the same slot and each operator chooses which one to deploy. Wanted Dead or a Wild, for example, ships in four versions ranging from 96.38% down to 88.42%. The figures below are the studios' published default settings — verify the number inside the game before staking, since the deployed configuration is only visible in real-money mode.

Game Provider Published Default RTP
Gates of Olympus Pragmatic Play 96.50%
Sweet Bonanza Pragmatic Play 96.51%
Big Bass Splash Reel Kingdom / Pragmatic Play 96.71%
The Dog House Pragmatic Play 96.51%
Wanted Dead or a Wild Hacksaw Gaming 96.38%
Book of Dead Play'n GO 96.21%
Reactoonz Play'n GO 96.51%
Dead or Alive 2 NetEnt 96.80%
Blood Suckers NetEnt 98.00%
Money Train 4 Relax Gaming 96.10%
Crazy Time Evolution 96.08%
Aviator Spribe 97.00%

Demo Play

Demo mode is one of the more open implementations we have tested. Most RNG game tiles in the lobby carry two buttons: Play and Demo. Clicking Demo launches the title in a free-play window with virtual credits.

How it works in practice:

  1. Registration is not required. Demo tiles are accessible from the public lobby without an account, which lets you assess the catalogue before handing over an email address.
  2. No deposit is needed at any stage. Demo credits carry no cash value and cannot be converted into withdrawable funds.
  3. Credit balance. The starting demo balance is set by the game provider rather than the casino, so it varies between studios — typically a few thousand play-money units, which is enough for several hundred spins at the default stake.
  4. Refreshing the balance. Demo credits do not top up automatically during a session. Once they run out, reload the game and the balance resets to its starting value.

Two limitations are worth knowing before you rely on it. Live dealer tables are excluded — dealer games stream from real studios and cannot run on virtual credits, so titles from Evolution and Pragmatic Live have no Demo button. Coverage is also incomplete among RNG slots: most Nolimit City titles and a number of NetEnt and Yggdrasil releases carry a Play button only. And because the demo build defaults to the highest certified RTP configuration, the version you test for free may not match the one running in real-money mode.

Payment Methods

Trino runs a fairly conventional cashier with one Canada-specific addition that matters: Interac sits alongside the international card and e-wallet rails, so funding an account does not require a card or a third-party wallet. The published logo strip covers Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, MiFinity, Google Pay, Apple Pay and Revolut, with crypto and voucher options appearing in the cashier depending on your location.

Two figures are published clearly and apply across every method: the minimum withdrawal is C$75 per transaction, and withdrawal requests are processed within three banking days, with the payment provider's own crediting time added on top. The casino states it absorbs transaction fees on most deposits and charges nothing for standard withdrawals.

What the casino does not publish is a per-method table of limits and timings. There is no cashier breakdown showing minimums, ceilings or processing windows for Interac versus Skrill versus Bitcoin. Available options also adjust automatically to your country and geolocation, so the list you see may differ from the one described here. Where a figure is genuinely undisclosed below, it is marked as such rather than estimated.

Deposit Methods

Deposits credit instantly on the casino's side for every electronic method. Our own C$500 Skrill deposit landed roughly four minutes after we started, and almost all of that was Skrill's two-factor confirmation rather than Trino's processing.

The practical minimum to know is C$30, which is the qualifying threshold for the first four welcome bonuses and the figure most commonly cited as the cashier floor. Two promotions raise it: the sports free bet requires C$40, and the Major Spin Pack requires C$150. Maximum deposit ceilings are set by the payment provider rather than by Trino, and no cap is published.

Three conditions apply regardless of method. First, deposits must originate from an account, card or wallet registered in your own name — third-party funding is refused. Second, deposits made in a currency other than your account currency are converted at Trino's daily rate or the processor's prevailing rate, and some payment systems apply their own conversion fee on top, deducted from the amount that arrives. Third, every real-money deposit carries a three-times wagering condition before a withdrawal is permitted; bets at odds or multipliers below 1.30 do not count toward it, and skipping the requirement costs 10% of the withdrawal.

Chargebacks are treated seriously: reversing a deposit triggers a €50 administration fee and forfeits any winnings generated from the disputed funds.

Withdrawal Methods

The withdrawal side is narrower than the deposit side, and the rules around it are the single most important thing to understand before playing at Trino.

Payouts must be routed back to the method used for the deposit. This is a closed-loop anti-money-laundering control rather than an arbitrary restriction: if funds can only travel back to their source, the account cannot be used to move money between instruments. Trino will consider an alternative destination, but only after additional security checks. KYC is mandatory before any withdrawal regardless of amount, and full verification is also triggered once lifetime deposits reach €5,000.

The published minimum is C$75 per transaction across all methods, with the exception of account closure, when the full balance can be withdrawn. Only one pending request per method is allowed at a time, and depending on the method, only one request per 24-hour period. Maximums are not fixed — they scale with your loyalty tier, running from C$800 per day and C$8,000 per 30 days at entry level up to C$4,000 per day and C$30,000 per 30 days at the upper tiers, with individually negotiated limits from Level 20. That structure means a large win is released in instalments rather than a single transfer, which is the most frequent complaint players raise about the site.

Processing is stated as up to three banking days. Our own C$550 Skrill payout arrived in approximately six hours, well inside that window.

Method Min. Max. Time Fee
Interac C$75 Tier-based: C$800–C$4,000 daily Up to 3 banking days None

Local Payment Methods for Canada

Interac is available for both deposits and withdrawals, which is the single most important local option for Canadian players and is confirmed in independent cashier listings for the Canadian version of the site. Flexepin, a prepaid voucher widely sold at Canadian retailers, is available for deposits, as are Paysafecard and Neosurf. CashtoCode appears in the cashier for cash-based funding.

Two commonly requested options are not available: Trustly is not listed among Trino's payment partners, and UnionPay does not appear in either the deposit or withdrawal roster. Interac remains the practical route for anyone who wants to fund directly from a Canadian bank account.

Cryptocurrency

Trino accepts cryptocurrency, though it is handled with noticeably less prominence than the fiat rails. The footer logo strip shows only cards and e-wallets, and no crypto logo appears there. Confirmation comes from elsewhere: the FAQ lists cryptocurrencies among supported methods, the terms of service reference cryptocurrency wallets in the context of linked-account detection, and independent cashier listings consistently show a crypto tab for accounts outside restricted markets.

The AML policy adds one condition specific to crypto users that is easy to miss. Players from low-risk jurisdictions who convert cryptocurrency into any other currency are treated as medium-risk for verification purposes, which lowers the thresholds that trigger tier two and tier three KYC from €2,000 and €5,000 down to €1,000 and €2,500 respectively. In practice, funding a Canadian account with crypto means documents will be requested sooner than if you deposit by Interac or card.

No crypto-specific minimums, maximums or processing times are published. The account-currency rules apply instead: the C$75 minimum withdrawal and the tier-based ceilings are enforced on the converted value, not on the token amount. Network confirmation time is added to the casino's three-banking-day processing window.

Other Payment Methods

  • Skrill and Neteller — both available, for deposits and withdrawals. Skrill was the method we tested in both directions.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay — both available for deposits and shown in the site's own payment logo strip. Neither is a withdrawal route, so a payout from an Apple Pay or Google Pay deposit is directed to the underlying card.
  • PayPal — not available. PayPal does not appear in Trino's cashier or in any independent listing of the site's payment partners.
  • Bank transfer — available for both deposits and withdrawals, including Rapid Transfer. It is the slowest option in both directions, and your own bank may levy charges that Trino does not cover.

Account Currencies

The currency is chosen at registration, in the same step as your email and password, and every balance, bet and transaction is then displayed in that currency. Canadian players selecting Canada get a CAD wallet by default, which means no conversion on Interac deposits and bonus thresholds quoted directly in C$ rather than converted from euros.

The currency list is confirmed across the withdrawal terms and bonus terms. Note that GBP is absent, which is consistent with the United Kingdom appearing on the restricted-country list. If your preferred currency is not on the list below, play is still perfectly possible — the balance is simply converted into one of the supported currencies at the point of deposit, using Trino's daily rate or the payment processor's prevailing rate. Some payment systems apply their own conversion fee on top, deducted from the deposited amount, so choosing a currency that matches your bank or wallet avoids paying twice.

Payment Limits and KYC

Trino operates a tiered verification model rather than a single check at sign-up. The account opens immediately after registration and can be funded and played before any document is submitted, but nothing leaves the account until identity is confirmed. Limits follow the same logic: payout ceilings are not fixed for everyone but scale with loyalty level, so two players requesting the same amount on the same day may face different outcomes depending on where they sit on the ladder.

KYC Requirements

Verification runs in three stages, triggered by cumulative deposit or withdrawal volume. The first stage is a self-declaration form; the second and third require documents. Canadian players sit in the standard low-risk band, though anyone converting cryptocurrency into another currency is reclassified as medium-risk, which halves the thresholds to €1,000 and €2,500.

  • Personal declaration — first name, surname, date of birth, gender, country of residence and full address, completed in account settings. Required of every player before a first payout.
  • Government-issued photo ID — passport, driver's licence or national ID card. All four corners must be visible and all details legible.
  • Handwritten code note — the ID must be photographed beside a handwritten slip showing a six-digit code generated by the site.
  • Selfie — a second photo showing your face, submitted alongside the ID. A liveness check or verification call may also be requested.
  • Proof of address — checked electronically against two databases first. If that fails, a utility bill, bank statement or government letter issued within the last three months is required.
  • Proof of payment method ownership — confirmation that the card, wallet or bank account belongs to you.
  • Source of wealth — business ownership, employment, inheritance, investment or family funds, requested at the highest tier.

Verification is triggered at four points: before any withdrawal regardless of amount; once deposits or withdrawals exceed €2,000 (stage two) or €5,000 (stage three); once cumulative lifetime deposits reach €5,000; and at any time the operator's monitoring flags unusual account activity. Two deadlines apply — verification must be completed within ninety days of registration, or within thirty days of a request, whichever falls first. Missing them allows the casino to void accrued winnings, though deposited funds remain refundable.

Withdrawal Limits

Ceilings are set by loyalty level rather than by payment method, and the same C$75 minimum applies to every option. Only one pending request per method is permitted at a time, and depending on the method, one request per 24 hours. From Level 20 upward the limits become individually negotiated with a VIP manager. The figures below convert the published EUR tiers into Canadian dollars, which is how they appear on the Canadian version of the site.

Period Standard Player (Levels 0–8) VIP (Levels 13–26)

Mobile Experience

Mobile is not an afterthought at Trino — it is arguably the primary format the interface was designed around. The lobby uses a dark indigo background with yellow accent buttons and colourful game tiles, a combination that holds up well on a phone screen in varied lighting and keeps the primary actions visually distinct from the artwork behind them.

Everything available on desktop is available on a phone. The full slot catalogue, the live dealer tables, the sportsbook, the cashier, the tournament leaderboards, the loyalty progress tracker and the achievements grid all render in the mobile layout without a reduced feature set. The bottom-anchored navigation carries the main categories, and the search function is reachable from any screen, which matters at a catalogue size above five thousand titles.

Game performance was the strongest part of our mobile testing. Slots from Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw and Play'n GO launched in roughly two to three seconds on a standard connection, and live streams from Evolution held full quality without dropped frames. Portrait and landscape are both supported, though live tables and Megaways grids are considerably more comfortable in landscape.

Two friction points are worth flagging. Verification document uploads work through the mobile browser but are fiddlier than on desktop, particularly the requirement to photograph an ID beside a handwritten code slip. And the sportsbook, which loads inside an embedded frame, is slower to initialise on mobile than the casino lobby is.

Mobile Site (Browser)

The browser version is the product. Loading the site on a phone drops you into the same dark indigo interface with yellow call-to-action buttons, and the layout reflows to a single-column feed of game rows rather than shrinking the desktop grid. Category chips run horizontally across the top — Recommended, Popular, Bonus Buy, Jackpot, Hold and Win, Crash Games, New — and swipe cleanly with one thumb.

Initial page load took under three seconds on a home connection. The cashier is reachable in two taps from any screen, and live chat sits in a persistent bubble in the bottom-right corner that follows you between pages rather than resetting. Bonus balances, active promotions and loyalty level all appear in the account panel behind the profile icon. Nothing important is buried.

Native App Version

Trino does not currently offer a native mobile app. The website is fully optimized for mobile browsers (iOS Safari / Android Chrome).

The practical consequences are worth stating plainly. There are no push notifications, so tournament deadlines, cash back credits and bonus expiry dates are not delivered to your lock screen — the seven-day bonus validity window and the five-day Major Spin Pack window are both easy to lose track of without a reminder. There is no biometric login either: Face ID and fingerprint unlock are unavailable, and access depends on your browser's saved-password behaviour rather than device-level authentication. Anyone who values one-tap secure sign-in will find the browser route slower.

Mobile Usability Notes

Touch targets are generously sized throughout — game tiles, category chips and cashier buttons are all comfortably thumb-reachable, and we registered no mis-taps during testing. On slower 3G and 4G connections the lobby degrades gracefully, loading tiles progressively rather than blocking the page, though live dealer streams drop in quality noticeably below 4G. If the connection cuts mid-spin, the round is settled server-side and the result appears when you reconnect, so no wager is lost. Live tables handle it less kindly: a dropped connection during an in-progress hand means the table plays out without you.

Trino Casino Customer Support

Trino runs a lean support operation: live chat as the primary channel, backed by two email addresses split by function. General questions go to support@trinocasino.com, while verification documents and payment queries are routed separately to kyc@trinocasino.com. That split is more useful than it sounds — it keeps compliance traffic out of the general queue, and it means document uploads are not competing with bonus questions for the same agents' attention.

There is no support telephone number. Trino publishes none on its contact page, in its terms, or anywhere else in its public documentation, and none appears in independent listings. Players who prefer voice support will not find it here.

WhatsApp is available, but conditionally: it is offered as a contact route for players assigned a personal VIP manager, which is guaranteed from Level 15 of the loyalty programme. It is not a general support channel. Telegram exists as a social media presence alongside Instagram, Facebook, X and TikTok — useful for promotion announcements, not for account issues.

In our own testing, live chat connected in roughly four minutes and answered a technical question about deposit wagering accurately without deflecting to a promotion. The email reply arrived within five hours.

Supported Languages

The site interface is available in ten languages across thirteen regional versions, selectable from the flag icon in the top-right corner: English (with dedicated Canada, Australia and New Zealand versions), French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Norwegian, Finnish and Russian. Support coverage broadly mirrors the interface list, with English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Finnish and Danish reported across independent listings. Danish and Norwegian speakers should expect narrower agent availability outside peak European hours.

Response Times and Quality

Channel Response Time Quality
Live Chat Approximately 4 minutes to reach an agent in our test Strong. The agent answered a technical wagering question accurately, volunteered the 10% opt-out fee without being asked, and used a natural rather than scripted tone. No attempt to upsell a promotion.
Email Within 5 hours in our test Good. The reply cited the specific loyalty tier bands rather than pasting a generic block of terms. Bet-settlement disputes carry a longer formal window — the operator commits to responding within 28 days of receipt.
Telephone Not available Not applicable — no telephone channel is offered

Is Trino Casino Safe? Licensing and Security

Trino Casino operates under licence No. OGL/2024/112/0974, issued by the Curaçao Gaming Authority to Fortuna Games N.V. (company registration 162413) on June 24, 2025. We confirmed the entry in the regulator's public online gaming licence register, where it appears as an active B2C licence — you can verify it yourself at the CGA register portal linked in the table below.

That distinction carries real weight in 2026. Curaçao replaced its old master-licence system with the National Ordinance on Games of Chance in December 2024, the sub-licence structure was abolished on January 1, 2025, and the former "orange seal" credentials expired permanently on October 15, 2025. Operators still trading on those legacy seals lost their right to operate. Trino holds a direct licence issued by the regulator itself, not a sub-licence resold by a private master licensee, and licences under the new framework are issued in renewable cycles with real revocation powers behind them.

Where the operator is less forthcoming is testing and fairness auditing. Trino states that its games are tested, approved and certified, but names no independent laboratory, publishes no certificate identifiers, and provides no audit schedule. Responsible gaming tools exist in a reasonably full range, but none are self-service — every limit must be requested through support.

SSL / TLS Not disclosed. The site runs over HTTPS and the operator states that advanced encryption is applied, but no TLS version or certificate authority is published
RNG Certification None named. The operator states games are officially tested, approved and certified, but does not identify a testing laboratory (eCOGRA, iTech Labs, GLI or otherwise) and publishes no certificate ID
Game Fairness Audit Not disclosed. No audit frequency or published report is available. The operator does confirm that its enterprise-wide AML risk assessment is reassessed annually and that internal audit reports on AML activity, but this is a compliance audit rather than a game fairness audit
Responsible Gaming Deposit limits ✅ · Loss limits ✅ · Session limits ✅ · Wager limits ✅ · Self-exclusion ✅ (6 months to 5 years) · Reality check ❌ — all limits are applied by support on request rather than through account settings, with periods of 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, daily, weekly or monthly
Privacy Policy Published and linked in the site footer. GDPR compliance: partial ✅/❌ — the operator appoints an EEA representative in Cyprus, which is a GDPR requirement, but its published data commitment references the superseded Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC rather than the GDPR itself, and personal data is held on servers in Curaçao
Data Retention Identification and transaction records retained for at least ten years after the business relationship ends, stored encrypted both online and offline
Dispute Resolution No named third-party ADR provider (no eCOGRA, IBAS or equivalent). Complaints escalate internally from customer service to management; if unresolved, players have the right to arbitration. Bet-settlement disputes must be lodged within 3 days of settlement, with a response committed within 28 days. Governing law is Curaçao
Age Verification 18+ enforced. Accounts held by minors are closed, winnings voided, and deposits either returned or held until the account holder reaches 18 at the operator's discretion
Independent Safety Rating Rated High by a leading independent casino assessment portal, with no unfair or predatory clauses identified in the terms and no listing on recognized casino blacklists

Trino Casino for Canadian Players

Canada does not appear on Trino's restricted-country list, so registration and play are open from every province and territory. The operator supports this with a dedicated en-CA site version, a Canadian dollar wallet, Interac deposits and withdrawals, and bonus thresholds quoted in C$ rather than converted from euros. Support runs 24/7 in English and French.

The legal picture within Canada is more nuanced than a simple yes. Ontario is the only province with a regulated commercial iGaming market, run by iGaming Ontario with the AGCO as regulator. Trino holds a Curaçao licence and does not appear on the iGO operator register, so Ontarians accessing it are playing outside the provincial framework — not illegal for the individual, but with no AGCO dispute rights or PlaySmart protections. Every other province operates without a private-operator licensing regime, leaving offshore sites in a long-standing grey area. Minimum age is 18 under Trino's own terms, though provincial gambling age is 19 in most of Canada.

Province Status Notes
Alberta Grey area Accessible. No private-operator licensing regime in place at the time of writing; PlayAlberta is the provincial option. Local gambling age 18
British Columbia Grey area Accessible. BCLC holds the provincial monopoly through PlayNow; offshore sites are unregulated locally. Local gambling age 19

Player Reviews

Our score is not generated by an algorithm alone. It combines our own hands-on test session with verified feedback submitted by registered players, weighted by how recent each submission is. Every review passes through moderation to filter duplicates, promotional content and submissions from accounts that never funded a balance — but moderation checks authenticity, not sentiment. Positive and negative reviews are published in the same way, and complaints about withdrawal delays or account closures appear alongside praise for payout speed. Trino makes the most sense for mid-stakes slot players who intend to settle on one site rather than move between brands each month. The loyalty ladder is the real product here — cash back paid in withdrawable cash, rising percentages and higher payout ceilings all reward accumulated volume, and none of that pays off for someone claiming a welcome package and leaving. Sports bettors get a genuine second vertical on the same CAD wallet, which is uncommon at this licence tier.

It suits players who value catalogue depth and a verifiable direct Curaçao licence over regulatory recourse. It does not suit anyone chasing a single large payout, since tiered ceilings release big wins in instalments, nor anyone who wants to set their own deposit and session limits without going through an agent first.

Our Casino Rating Methodology

Every casino we cover is opened, funded and cashed out with our own money before a word is written. We weight six criteria, and the full breakdown of how each score is calculated is published on our methodology page.

  • Safety and licensing — 25%. We verify the licence number directly in the regulator's public register rather than trusting a footer badge, read the terms in full for unfair clauses, and check the operator against recognized blacklists and complaint databases.
  • Payments — 20%. We make a real deposit and a real withdrawal, timing both. We record the actual processing window against the stated one, check for hidden fees, and map published limits against loyalty tiers.
  • Bonuses — 20%. We read every promotion's terms rather than its headline. Wagering multipliers, maximum bet caps, cash-out ceilings, game contribution rates and expiry windows all carry more weight than the advertised percentage.
  • Game selection — 15%. We count titles where a counter exists, identify studios present, test load times on desktop and mobile, and confirm whether demo play and RTP disclosure are available.
  • Support — 10%. We contact each available channel with a technical question that has a verifiable answer, then time the response and assess accuracy rather than politeness.
  • Mobile and usability — 10%. We test navigation, cashier access, streaming quality and connection-loss behaviour on a phone, not a resized desktop window.

Our project reviews operators independently, including Trino Casino. We may earn a commission when a player registers through a link on this page. That commission is paid by the operator and costs the player nothing — bonus terms, limits and payout speeds are identical whether you arrive through us or type the address directly.

The order of operations matters here, so we will state it plainly: we complete the review before any commercial arrangement is discussed. Licence verification, a funded test session, a real withdrawal and a support test all happen first. If an operator fails that process, we do not partner with it, and we publish the review regardless. Commercial relationships never influence a score, and we do not remove or soften criticism at an operator's request. Where our findings contradict an operator's own marketing — as with the payout timing and game count claims on this page — we publish the discrepancy.

Responsible Gambling

Trino Casino sets its minimum age at 18 under its own terms and enforces it through verification checks. Provincial law in Canada is stricter in most cases: the legal gambling age is 19 in British Columbia, Ontario, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador, and 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Accounts found to belong to minors are closed, winnings are voided, and deposits are either returned or held until the account holder reaches the age threshold.

Gambling is entertainment, not a way to generate income. If you find yourself spending more time or money than intended, chasing losses, borrowing to play, or feeling anxious when you are not playing, those are recognized warning signs and worth acting on early. Trino offers deposit, loss, wager and session limits in periods from fifteen minutes to one month, plus self-exclusion from six months to five years — but every one of these must be requested through live chat or email rather than switched on in account settings, so plan to contact support directly. Our guide to responsible gaming covers these tools in more detail.

FAQ

Is Trino Casino trustworthy and safe for Canadian players?

Trino operates under licence No. OGL/2024/112/0974, issued by the Curaçao Gaming Authority to Fortuna Games N.V. on June 24, 2025, and verifiable in the regulator's public register. It is a direct licence under the new LOK framework, not a resold sub-licence. No independent testing laboratory is named for RNG certification.

Does Trino Casino actually pay out winnings?

Yes. Our test withdrawal of C$550 by Skrill was paid in roughly six hours. Payouts require completed identity verification and a deposit wagered three times over. The common complaint is not non-payment but pacing: tiered ceilings from C$800 to C$4,000 daily mean large wins arrive in instalments.

How long does it take to withdraw winnings at Trino Casino?

Trino states withdrawal requests are processed within three banking days, with the payment provider's crediting time added afterward. Our Skrill payout landed in approximately six hours. E-wallets and crypto clear fastest; cards and bank transfers take longest. Only one pending request per method is permitted at a time.

Is Trino Casino legal in Canada?

Canada is not on Trino's restricted-country list, so registration is open nationwide. Ontario is the exception worth understanding: Trino is not on the iGaming Ontario register, so Ontarians play outside the provincial framework and forfeit AGCO dispute rights. Playing at offshore sites is not an offence for individuals anywhere in Canada.

Does Trino Casino accept Canadian dollars, euros and US dollars?

Yes, all three. The currency is selected at registration, and Canadian accounts default to CAD, so Interac deposits require no conversion and bonus thresholds appear in C$. Also supported: AUD, NZD, PLN, SEK, NOK, DKK, HUF, BRL, ARS and KZT. British pounds are not available.

Does Trino Casino offer 24/7 customer support in English?

Yes. Live chat runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week in English and French, reaching an agent in roughly four minutes during our test. Email support at support@trinocasino.com replied within five hours; verification queries go to kyc@trinocasino.com. No telephone support number is published.

Does Trino Casino accept USDT and BTC cryptocurrencies?

Yes. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tether on TRC20, Tron, Dogecoin, Ripple and Cardano all appear in the cashier. Crypto-specific minimums and processing times are not published. Note that converting crypto to another currency reclassifies your account as medium-risk, lowering KYC document thresholds to €1,000 and €2,500.

Is there a Trino Casino app for iOS and Android?

No. Trino does not offer a native app on the App Store or Google Play, and no APK is distributed. The site is fully optimized for mobile browsers on iOS Safari and Android Chrome, with the complete lobby, cashier and sportsbook available. There are no push notifications or biometric login.
